Malaysia recognizes Kosovo as an independent state

Press Statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia on the Recognition of Kosovo´s Indepedence.

Malaysia has decided to recognize the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state and will establish diplomatic relations at an appropriate time in the future. The recognition of independence by Malaysia will help fulfill the aspirations of the people of people of Kosovo for an independent state.
