Union of the Comoros recognises Kosovo's independence

After many indications, today, through official channels, Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that Union of the Comoros has recognized the independence and sovereignty of Kosovo.

Union of the Comoros has enclosed the recognition procedures, in response to the official request for recognition from Kosovo President, Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister.Today, Union of the Comoros has officially confirmed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. H.E. Minister Hyseni, also today, has written a letter to his counterpart from the Comoros, expressing his sincere appreciations for the recognition of Kosovo. Minister Hyseni has ensured H.E. Minister Ahmed Ben Said Jaffar that very soon is going to establish diplomatic relations and close cooperation with this country.

Union of the Comoros is 59th country to recognize Kosovo.
